Titus Andronicus - The happy forrest (rough demo take)
I just stumbled upon old Demos for my TA soundtrack. This is one of my favorite compositions of the whole soundtrack. No one probably noticed it during the actual performance but I remember the recording session for it vividly. This little atmosphere piece was a spur of the moment spark, one of the “aww” moments of that whole process and makes me smile - still, after all these years. Entirely guitar-based with just a hint of some piano notes, this gem still makes me feel the grass, smell the forrest and hear the birds - as it was intended to. For most ears, it will seem boring and trivial - for me it brings back everything.
